Sir,
We the undersigned patients
in the Provincial Hospital, having heard with regret that
you are about to give over charge of the Provincial Hospital
to a successor, cannot suffer you to do so without expressing
our sorrow and offering you our sincerest thanks for that
kind and gentlemanly treatment with which we have always
been treated and for those assiduous attentions which are
several diseases and complaints required.
We therefore hope you will
accept this as the only testimonial we can bestow, with
our sorrow for losing your abilities and our thanks for
past attention paid us.
Wishing you and your family
health, happiness and success in all your undertakings,
