The Harwood, Moa, Breadalbane, Gertrude and every
other craft in harbour hoisted symbolic flags
and numbers ‘58th Farewell, Awhile’.
Once more a speedy and prosperous voyage home
to the officers and men of the 58th
and may we soon have to welcome back many of them
as permanent settlers amongst us.
