In reporting the upward
passage of this beautiful and trustworthy steamship,
the ‘Sydney Herald’ of the 12th says
the William Denny arrived on Saturday
morning, the 10th at 7 o’clock. She sailed
from Auckland at 10 pm on the 3rd inst.,
having had a fine passageof 6 days 17 hrs – the
fastest voyage ever made. |
